Rolex Submariner

rolex_submariner

The Rolex Submariner is designed for diving and is known for its resistance to water. The first Submariner was introduced to the public in 1954 at the Swiss Watch Fair and such is its recognition as a classic timepiece, in the years since it has been copied by other watch makers the world over.

Featuring one of the most widely recognized luxury brand names in the world, the Submariner has been part of expeditions both at sea and overland in the Antarctic, where it withstood temperatures of minus 45 degrees Celsius. The watch has appeared also in James Bond movies no less than eleven times!
